I want this site and the Recipe Column Cards extension usable by everyone, and I aim for WCAG 2.1 AA.
What's in place
Text colors are checked against a 4.5:1 contrast minimum.
Every interactive element is keyboard-reachable with a visible focus outline.
Animations respect your system's reduced-motion setting.
Images carry descriptive alt text; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
Pages use landmarks and a logical heading order.
Printed cards use large, high-contrast type by design.
Known limits
The engineered grid is a visual table format; screen readers will read it as a table, which works but is dense for long recipes. The classic two-column fallback card reads more linearly.
